Most of our files work from a USB drive. The car looks for specific folder and file names. Tap one to see what it does.

Light shows
The car looks for a folder named LightShow at the top level of the drive. Each show is a pair of files that share a name: a sequence file and its music track.

Sequence + track
- The .fseq file tells the lights, mirrors and closures what to do and when.
- The audio file plays alongside it. MP3 or WAV.
- Both must have exactly the same name, or the show will not appear.
/Boombox/
Boombox sounds
Sounds placed in a Boombox folder can be played through the car's external speaker, on cars that have one fitted.

/TeslaCam/
Dashcam & Sentry
Dashcam and Sentry Mode clips are saved here. The drive writes continuously, so the drive you choose and how it is formatted both matter.

/LockChime.wav
Custom lock sound
A WAV file named exactly LockChime.wav at the top level of the drive replaces the lock sound. It plays through the external speaker.

Every file comes with a step-by-step guide. Most go onto a USB drive in a specific folder, such as LightShow, Boombox or TeslaCam, and the car finds them when you plug the drive in.
The available methods are shown at checkout. Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure form and are never stored on this site.
